Do you love exploring new mobile apps and enjoy expressing yourself through writing? We need a talented App Tester and Writing Specialist for our fully distributed workforce. You’ll evaluate different mobile applications in depth and communicate your observations through comprehensive documentation.
Your detailed assessments and written evaluations will play a critical role in advancing app quality and user experience. This position merges your passion for mobile technology with your writing talents, and you can do it entirely from home.
Core Duties:
- Evaluate both new and established mobile applications for technical operation, ease of use, and speed.
- Produce comprehensive reports and evaluations from your testing sessions.
- Spot and record technical problems, performance issues, and design shortcomings.
- Work alongside engineering teams to deliver actionable feedback and improvement recommendations.
- Keep current with emerging developments in the mobile app landscape to deliver quality evaluations.
Rate: $35 per hour (Subject to project difficulty and documentation depth required)
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to present observations in a clear manner.
- Genuine enthusiasm for mobile applications and digital tools.
- Working knowledge of how apps function and what makes for good user interaction.
- Independent, driven, and capable of managing your own workload with minimal oversight.
- Stable internet connection and ownership of a smartphone or tablet for evaluation purposes.
Availability: Flexible scheduling.
