Do you have a passion for discovering mobile applications and sharing your insights about them? We’re looking for someone to evaluate smartphone and tablet apps, then write detailed accounts of what makes them valuable or problematic for users.
What This Role Involves: In this position, you’ll install and test various applications on mobile devices, then document your findings through written assessments. Your reviews will help readers understand which apps are worth their time and what limitations they might face.
Your Main Tasks:
- Install apps onto your personal smartphone or tablet and conduct comprehensive testing of all available features.
- Produce clear, compelling content that describes each application’s strengths and distinguishing characteristics.
- Document any problems, bugs, or performance concerns you observe while using the app.
What You’ll Need: Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Ownership of at least one device such as an iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, or Android tablet.
- Experience with downloading and operating mobile applications.
- Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision.
- Strong attention to detail when following guidelines and specifications.
- Minimum 5 hours weekly to dedicate to this work.
- Stable broadband or mobile internet access.
Rate: We provide competitive pay at $35 per hour, with adjustments possible based on app complexity and the depth of analysis needed in your evaluations.
Schedule Flexibility: You determine your own workload each week according to your personal schedule and capacity.
Geographic Scope: Though we accept applications internationally, we particularly prefer candidates currently residing within the United States.
